Dubai, Part 2 :)

Okay okay okay, I know it has been a while since my last post about Dubai. ...
I get distracted easily and I have been busy with Christmas and stuff so here it finally is :).
(The big one, not the
one on my thumb)

(I work on African time anyway, so a week late is actually pretty early :P).

And then it was DAAAAAY 4 :D

We went to some kind of Souk place, but it wasn't a typical Souk, it was like a "modern souk", with like fixed prices and stuff. It was pretty nice, you got all the typical Arab stuff but weren't overwhelmed by people shoving their stuff to sell in your face. And I go this Ring there!! How hectic?? It makes me feel like an overpaid rapper with no talent (Like how Jason Derulo must feel like). I spent like most of the day there really. It was a nice place with good vibes and like music playing and stuff.

Day 5
I went to the Dubai Mall! (Again!).
Well, this time it was to meet up with my friends again, for the last time before I left to come back to Dirty, Dirtbin Durban. I had the most amazing day with them! AGAIN! Well, firstly we went for Lunch at this place called Ping Pong. It was really nice like Dim Sum and Asian food. Then we got Cupcakes from the Magnolia bakery (In Bloomingdales), and the red velvet cupcake I had was simply amazing. ...Like wow. Then we went to the biggest bookstore in the world. I can't remember what it is called, something beginning with a K or N and was in Japanese. we went there and laughed at the Romance Section books. I have never laughed so much in my life. One to remember was: "Get ready for a DARN Good Cowboy Christmas" and "If his passion is as hot as this, then bring on the Heat!". ...Like, are these for real?? And Why is the same guy on the cover of every. single. romance book. And he isn't even that good looking!! Well after spending a good like 30 minutes there, we went and like looked around more and just hung out and we watched the Dancing Fountains outside the Burj Khalifa. Then I met one of my friends other friends from school who was a really nice guy. We went to Master Chang or something like that and had dinner. One thing about Dubai is that wherever I went, the food was so amazing and they literally have everything there!! It was so sad when I had to go. I was really sad to leave them and I don't know when I can see them again before they leave for California or London, wherever they are going to study.

So, Day 6 :)
Burj al Arab

We stared off going for Breakfast at the Burj al Arab (The 7 star hotel that looks like a  Sail).
And who knew that you could eat Dim Sum for breakfast?? Well now I do because thats what I had.
Not that I minded at all, since Dim Sum is one of my favourite foods (Along with Pineapple, Sushi and Foie Gras (Just in case one of you wants to take me on a Date one day ;) )).
Well, also at Breakfast, they had some of the absolutely most strangest fruit I have ever seen.
Well, they had the same sort of thing like apples, clementines, pears, oranges. ...all that boring stuff,
BUT
Then they had Dragon Fruit (Which was pretty gross I'm not going to lie, but it looked pretty cool)
Burj Khalifa
and SNAKE FRUIT! Who-ever hear of such a thing!?!?
The skin of the fruit really looked and felt like a real snake!
Pity the fruit part smelt really bad and tasted like Parmesan cheese.
So, if you are ever looking for a Breakfast of strange Fruit, Dim Sum and Asian Tourists, go to the Burj al Arab :D. Then, later that day, or not really later it was directly after we had been for Breakfast we went to the Burj Khalifa, (The tallest building in the World) and we went up to the 124th floor in exactly nearly 1 minute.
It was pretty cool, but just really cold up there! Dubai is an amazing city from the air (as well as the ground), but after the tall buildings, there is just absolutely nothing but desert out there! It is quite mind boggling!

After that we went back to the Dubai Mall and shopped a little, and I got the nicest Red coat from Zara for when I got to London :D.

So, that is just a summary of my 6 Days in Dubai.
I hope you enjoyed reading it :).
It s defiantly worth a visit there, just to see what is possible and the like general amazing things that Man can make and to see like the best, the largest, the tallest, etc etc etc.

Hope you all have a good day
:D
