Hello, I am Brett and I enjoy watching Matadors get gorged by Bulls

It suddenly just dawned on me how long it has been since I actually wrote something and didn't just post a video or photo, and now since I have an extremely bad case of insomnia and most of my friends are sleeping, or out partying and I need to think of something else to post for todays "Fashion Friday: 

(brett-yves-fashion.blogspot.com), I have some time to write something. ...

I have suddenly come to realise that, I am finally finished school and writing final exams, 

Funny. ...

The last thing I remember is being in Grade One, and meeting who would be my best friend for the past 12 years, Chiao-Feng. 

It really doesn't seem real in the slightest. 

But, I would be lying if I said I wasn't extremely glad it is all over.

School for me, especially high-school has been possibly the most miserable time, full of nothing but bad memories, humiliation, and sadness.

I would not wish my school experience on anyone. 

But, who cares right? It is only 12 years. Most of your life, you spend out of school anyway. School only makes up a tiny part of it. 

I hold absolutely no like "Emotional Attachment" to school at all. Most of my life revolves around things I do outside of school anyway. 

I was not sad on my last day of Matric.

I was not sad at my final lunch with my grade, frankly I didn't really want to be there anyway.

And I most defiantly wasn't sad at my Matric Valedictory. 

Call me sad or a bad person or whatever, but I just don't really care about those sort of things. 

It is time to move on, and leave that all behind me.

I am really sorry you all are reading this. ...

But, I guess this is my form of just "Letting go". 

For once, I think I am making myself seem like a real person, and not just made out of stone as some people would say about me. 

One Month, and Finals will be over, and this chapter will be closed forever. 

And what will be for me in the future, (you may be wondering if you haven't stopped reading and clicked on a link out of this webpage and onto change your Facebook or Twitter Status). 

Well, that is currently unknown. I have a lot of Ideas. 

It defiantly involves a lot of Traveling, Learning, Fashion, Romance (Hopefully) and Paris (Of course) 

and hopefully you will see me on the cover of a magazine :D. 

Hahaha, well only time can tell.

James Dean, who himself was a man of few words, requires little explanation when it comes to discussing his status as a style icon. He was the king of cool.

Dean’s first television experience came in the form of a 1950 Pepsi commercial -- a far cry from his first big-screen debut five years later in Elia Kazan’s East of Eden. His role as the angsty outcast Cal Trask was a prelude to achieving full-blown stardom in Rebel Without a Cause. The brooding young actor gained international fame playing Jim Stark, a teenager who, as the title implies, can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Dean had a classic greaser look with slicked-back hair, jeans and a tight white T-shirt that was capped off not with a black leather jacket but a red windbreaker, and of course, a cigarette dangling from his mouth. It may not seem cutting-edge by today’s style icon standards, but his rebellious look marked a definite departure from predominantly preppy and buttoned-up midcentury styles.

Life imitated art with James Dean carrying that brazen image into his everyday existence. A taste for fast cars was conveniently accompanied by fame and fortune that allowed him luxuries like a Porsche 356 Speedster, which he later traded in for the more exclusive -- and faster -- 550 Spyder model. Not surprisingly, Dean had a habit of racing his pricey investments. It was the natural complement to his all-American bad boy persona. But as luck would have it, life in the fast lane ultimately led to an untimely demise at the ripe young age of 24.

Dean’s legacy, however, far outlives his short time on Earth for one simple reason: He embodied the essence of cool. He was one of the first male actors who garnered as much attention from women as he did from men. And while James Dean’s sexual past remains shrouded in mystery to this day, one thing is clear: Everyone either wanted him or wanted to be like him.

Dress The Dean Way

It is indeed possible to be almost as irresistible as Dean without putting your life in danger. His immortal sense of style is easy to infuse into your wardrobe, and the truth is, you’re probably already halfway there (everyone has a T-shirt and jeans; they just have to be cut right). Dean’s look comes from an era when clothes fit properly by hugging the body rather than hanging and bunching with enough extra fabric to outfit a family of four.

There is more, however, to Dean’s look than understanding denim and a white tee. He is credited with popularizing the vest as part of his Texas oil tycoon role in the posthumously released film Giant. Barbapapa is both the title character, and name of the "species" of said character, of a series of children's books written in the 1970s by Annette Tison and Talus Taylor, who resided in Paris, France. The books were originally written in French (barbe à papa is French for cotton candy, or—literally—"father's beard"), and were later translated into over 30 languages. As short cartoons of a length of only five minutes, they reached a broader audience via TV. Also a comic book version was created. Both the cartoons and comics sometimes show concerns about the environment and contain environmental messages.

Barbapapa himself is a generally mango-shaped, pink shapeshifting blob-like creature who stumbles upon the human world and tries to fit in. The shapeshifting is usually accompanied by the saying "Clickety Click—Barba Trick". After various amusing adventures, he comes across a female of his species (more shapely, and black-coloured), named Barbamama. They produce seven children, known as the Barbababies, each a different colour:

Isabelle Caro

Isabelle Caro was a French model and actress from Marseille, France, who became well known after appearing in a controversial ad campaign "No Anorexia" which showed Caro with vertebrae and facial bones showing under her skin in a picture by photographer Oliviero Toscani. Caro suffered from severe anorexia nervosa from the age of 13. Her anorexia was caused by what she called a "troubled childhood".

"I had a very complicated childhood, very difficult, very painful. My mother's big phobia was that I would grow. She spent her time measuring my height. She wouldn't let me go outside because she'd heard that fresh air makes children grow, and that's why I was kept at home. It was completely traumatic."

It was revealed that at the worst of her eating disorder, she weighed only 25 kilograms at a height of 1.65 metres; her most recent weight was 33 kilograms. Caro was hospitalized for the first time when she was 20. At her worst, in 2006, she slipped into a coma, weighing just 25 kilograms. The doctor said she would not survive the coma but she did.

Caro was also interviewed in the second episode of the TV documentary series, "The Price of Beauty", in which Jessica Simpson, traveled the world to explore the meaning of true beauty. Simpson investigated the problem of how some female fashion models have become obsessed with being skinny. Caro talked about how she became anorexic and warned other girls about the affliction. Simpson was moved to say "What you are doing right now makes you more beautiful and I hope women all over the world hear about the story and it is important to know that how skinny you are does not make you beautiful." 

Caro died on 17 November 2010 in France, after spending about two weeks in hospital with acute respiratory disease. The cause of her death is unknown. Caro's acting instructor, Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, told the Associated Press news agency that Caro had died "after returning to France" from a job in Tokyo. Her family only reported Caro's death to the media a month afterward, on 29 December 2010. Caro died in Paris and is buried in the Cimetière du Montparnasse.
