Hermès for Van

Here is what L'Officiel says about it (Direct English Translation):

"Here is the collaboration which seems just taken of our our most crazy dreams. The sneaker Vans medal recipient by the motives for mythical silk squares Hermes? We believe to dream. For a very good reason, because to our biggest regret, these ultra-desirable shoes were specially created for the American presenter Robert Verdi, the enthusiast of mode(fashion). And we, in all this? At the moment, no collaboration masstige (mass market + prestige) is planned. But if ever an old pair of Vans and a vintage scarf are lying about(dawdle) in your dressing room, a small DIY is imperative(leads) …"

So, will Hermès for Vans become another Collaberation like Versace for H&M?
Personally, whilst I love both brands, I hope not. Whilst I think they are a good idea, and make high-fashion more available to the general population something about it takes away from the exclusivity of the brand.
When things become to commercial, they tend to become ruined.

Acne Jr Toys

These Toys from Sweden have to be the cutest things I have seen since a long time!
Why didn't I get Toys like this when I was a young'in?
All Toys are made from Eco-Friendly materials and rage from about $50-$80 depending on the model.
Defiantly getting myself a few pieces when I go to Sweden!

Hermès Men: Spring Summer 2011-2012

Look 18
In this collection, Hermès shows how a successful, elegant man should dress. The beauty lies in the details, and by letting the materials used speak for themselves instead of making the man seem like he is flaunting his wealth and has a relaxed approach to life and business.

“Carefree Elegance” is the term used by Hermès Creative Director Veronique Nichanian. This contemporary collection takes clothing down to the bare essentials, but adds a fresher approach such as tailored, soft trousers in orange and mustard (Looks 19&33), which are just bold enough to make a statement, but without you showing you are trying too hard which sets the tone for the entire collection. It is also a collection where you are free to add your personal touch, and what you think will look good. If you do not like the sandals in Black, you can have them in Orange, Brown or any other colour depending on your taste, which goes for most pieces in the collection.

This “formula” of Carefree Elegance has created something fresh to the House, without upsetting its business of “creating clothing, not fashion.”

Moncler Gamme Bleu Men: Spring/Summer 2011-2012

From the Fencing Hall setting, to the clothing itself, there is no doubt where in inspiration for this collection comes from.

Based on the sports of Fencing, Equestrian, Sailing and tennis the clean lines and shear whiteness of the collection encompasses the essence of summer time and brings together the two worlds of sports and fashion into an extremely successful collection.

The collection shows you where the collection gets it’s influence from but this inspiration is in the underlying values of the collection, so much so that you would not look out of place wearing the pieces in everyday life.

By using an understated palate of white, navy, red, grey and black, the emphasis lies mainly on the clothing itself and in the detail such as the padding and lines on the pea coat in look one or the cut and exquisite tailoring of the shorts in look 26, which is further enhanced by the classic cuts, shapes and tailoring used.

Givenchy Men: Spring/Summer 2011-2012

Look 2
From the rough, powerful Rottweiler heads of the Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Collection, Riccardo Tisci moves towards a softer, romanticized collection, aptly named the “Birds of Paradise” collection. But don’t let the flowers and birds trick you, by using straight lines, bold print and muscular models this is very much a men’s collection.

Instead of presenting something inspired by spring, it shows what the essence of what springtime is: Carefree, Bold and Fresh. This is accomplished by using definite lines, angles and including skirts, Bermuda shorts and white accessories (including silver horned ear plugs) and sandals. The colour palate of moss, aqua green, and white used in the suits provide a refreshing breakaway from the overwhelming but beautiful prints in orange, violet, pink and ivory that are painted, printed or embroidered.

This collection brings together, in perfect harmony theatrics and simplicity that shows off the male form rather then suppressing it under flowers.

2012

Hello Everyone :D

I hope everyone had an amazing welcome to 2012!!

Now it is time to get back to work and get into the gym
(even though most people will go for a week and not go back again)

I am back from Safari, and I had an amazing time :).
I will do a report about it when I have pictures, like I did for Dubai and it will go under the "Travellers Tales" Link List, if you want to read it over and over again :P.

So, if you have seen my blog before you would have noticed now that it has changed quite a bit. Now, it will be more focused on what I have here, instead of links to so any other things. New Year needs a new approach and needs to be more like "Focused".

I am also going to put my reviews of Fashion shows I have done and stuff. It will be easier if my portfolio is on here and you can see my style and stuff :).

So, I hope you all have an amazing year :).

My list of resolutions will be up soon too :D

Remember to make yours and reach them!!!!!

Lots of Love
