Balenciaga's Nicholas Ghesquière has teamed up with veteran American Vogue Creative Director Grace Coddingham to create the "Pumpkin Bag" and no, it has nothing to do with the colour (which is amazing by the way). It is named so after Grace's cat Pumpkin.
The tote style bag features illustrations of Pumpkin in some of Balenciaga's most iconic looks and is made from canvas with calfskin trim. It will be released in conjunction with Fashions Night out and 20% of all sales will go towards the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.
The bag will retail at US$1000 at Balenciaga's 22nd Street store (I'm guessing that is in New York City) on Thursday the 6th September 18:00-21:00 (Or 6:00-9:00pm).
