(This scarf may be my new favourite thing I want to own)

Already having created for Nicki Minaj and presented at Alternative Fashion Week 2012 London Based knitwear designer Jylle Navarro is fast becoming a one to watch in Avant-Garde Fashion.

For her 2013 collection, insertion was taken from from classic horror novels and films such as "Frankenstein", "The Swamp Thing" and "The Walking Dead", this daring, graphic and neon collection is defiantly one to bring back fun and frivolity back into this serious business.

The garments are make in a variety of techniques including macramé, hand and machine knitting in heavy unconventional materials and a mix of different yarns and create a supernatural feel to the collection.

Making use of oversized and embellished pieces, the collection incorporates the key to Jylle's business ethic of gender neutrality, sustainability and a non-conformist attitude.

"With my asymmetric shapes, layering, fringing, draping and use of neon brights, I'm continuously pursuing the boundaries of bold artwork, diverse statement pieces and a daring approach to knitwear."
- Jylle Navarro.

Jylle's garments are currently available from:
172 - Bricklane, London
Happy Shack - Camden, London
and online from the ASOS Marketplace
